A must try !CRAB WITH GREEN CURRYIngredients3-4 medium crabs, cleaned½ cup crab leg meat1 black cardamom1 teaspoon cumin seeds3-4 cloves3-4 green cardamoms1 inch cinnamon1 bay leaf1 teaspoon poppy seeds1 medium onion, sliced½ cup fresh scraped coconut2-3 green chillies4-6 garlic cloves1 inch ginger4 tablespoons chopped coriander Juice of ½ lemonSalt to taste1 tablespoon oil1 medium onion, finely chopped3 tablespoons coconut milk1 teaspoon garam masala powderMethod1. To prepare green curry, heat a non-stick pan. Add black cardamom, cumin seeds, cloves, green cardamoms, cinnamon and torn bay leaf and roast till fragrant. Add poppy seeds and sauté for half a minute. Remove from heat and transfer onto a plate.2. Heat a non-stick pan. Add sliced onion and sauté till golden. Add coconut and sauté till golden. Remove from heat and add to the roasted spice mixture. Add broken green chillies, garlic and ginger.3. Grind together the roasted spice-onion-coconut mixture and chopped coriander alongwith salt and some water to a fine paste.4. Take crabs in a bowl. Add lemon juice and salt and mix well. 5. Heat oil a non-stick pan. Add chopped onion and sauté till golden.6. Grind the crab leg meat alongwith some water to a fine paste.7. Add the ground paste to the onion, mix and sauté for a minute. Add crab meat, mix, cover and cook for a minute. Add some water and strained crab leg mixture, mix, cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.8.
