Cream of mushroom soup is a simple type of soup where a basic roux is thinned with cream or milk and then mushrooms and/or mushroom broth are added. It is well known in North America as a common type of condensed canned soup


Ingredients:

Ingredients:
MUSHROOMS 1 C
CHOPPED GARLIC 1 TBS
CHOPPED ONIONS ½ C
SALT
SUGAR 1 PINCH
FLOUR ½ TS
THYME ½ TS
LEEKS ½ C
CHICKEN STOCK 3C
BUTTER TBS

METHOD

In a pan heat the butter, add chopped garlic, chopped onions, and salt, add mushrooms, and sauté them, add pinch of sugar, cook for some time in a slow flame.
Add dry thyme, flour, and chopped leeks; add chicken stock, boiled for 15 minutes, once cooled blend and transfer in to the same bowl.
At last condition the cream with some hot soup and add it into the soup.
