The fresh soothing colour of this pasta will catch your eyes.CREAMY GREEN PEAS PASTAIngredients 1½ cups green peas¼ cup blanched green peas1½ cups penne pasta, boiled and drained4 tbsps olive oil1 tbsp + 1 tsp finely chopped garlic1 medium white onion, finely choppedSea salt to taste1¼ cups milkCrushed black peppercorns to tasteSalt to taste 2½ tbsps parmesan cheese powder + for garnishFresh mint sprigs for garnishMethod 1. Heat 2 tbsps olive oil in nonstick wok, add 1 tbsp garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add onion mix, and cook till translucent.2. Add green peas, sauté on high heat for 1-2 minutes. Add sea salt and mix well.3. Stir in the milk and let the mixture come to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook till green peas soften. Switch the heat off and allow the mixture to cool slightly.4. Transfer the mixture into a blender jar and blend to a fine paste.5. Heat remaining olive oil in another nonstick pan. Add remaining garlic and sauté for a minute. Add in the blanched green peas and sauté for 1 minute.6. Add boiled pasta and mix well. Reduce the heat to low and add the blended paste. Mix till well combined and cook for 1 minute. 7. Add crushed back peppercorns, salt, and parmesan cheese powder and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes and take the pan off the heat.8. Transfer the creamy green peas pasta into a serving plate, garnish with crushed black peppercorns, parmesan cheese powder and mint sprigs. Serve hot.
