Crispy Bombil Fry (Bombay Duck Fry) By Archana | India Food Network

Bombay duck is not a duck but a fish. It is popularly known as Bombil. It is very delicate & needs gentle handling while frying.The fish is moist & succulent from the inside & crisp on the outside when fried. Bombay duck goes well with steamed rice & dal fry.

Ingredients

3 bombils (bombay duck fish) washed and sliced in half
Salt to taste
Garlic, coriander and green chilly paste
A little maida (flour)
1 tsp mix masala
½ tsp haldi (turmeric) powder
Rawa (semolina)
