Health bhi, taste bhi CRISPY CHOWLI CHAATIngredients2 cups parboiled black eyed peas (chowli)1 tsp red chilli powder + to sprinkle tsp turmeric powder tsp chaat masala + to sprinkle tsp cumin powderSalt to taste2 tsps red chilli paste2 tsps ginger-garlic-green chilli paste1 tsp lemon juice cup corn flour2 tbsps rice flourOil for deep frying1 small onion, chopped1 small tomato, chopped1 small cucumber, chopped2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves + to sprinkle1 tsp date and tamarind chutney1 tsp green chutneyNylon sev to sprinkleFresh pomegranate pearls to sprinkleMethod1. Take red chilli powder in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, salt, red chilli paste, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, lemon juice and mix well.2. Add the peas and mix well. Transfer in a strainer, sprinkle corn flour, rice flour and mix well.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the beans till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside.4. Add chaat masala, red chilli powder, onion, tomato, cucumber, coriander leaves, date and tamarind chutney, green chutney and mix well.5.
