Crispy Crunchy Masala Peanuts | Indian Mom's Kitchen

The coating makes all the difference. This recipe takes Peanuts to a different level. The only problem is that these Peanuts disappear off your Kitchen shelf in no time.

Ingredients:
1 cup Peanuts
1/2 cup Besan
1/4 tsp Hing
1/4 tsp Black Salt
2 tsp Rice flour
1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Chaat Masala
1 tsp Sugar powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method: Wash and strain well a cup of Peanuts. Make dry powder mix by combining Besan, Rice flour, Hing, Salt, Chilli powder & 3/4 tsp Chaat masala. Roll the wet Peanuts in the dry powder mix. To get a thicker coating, sprinkle the Peanuts with a little water and roll them again in the dry powder mix. Fry the peanuts on medium flame till crisp and brown. Remove Peanuts from oil and allow it to cool. Now combine Black Salt, 1/4 tsp Chaat masala and Sugar powder and sprinkle this powder mix on the fried Peanuts and toss well.
