DAHI MATHRI CHAAT

Ingredients

1 cup yogurt (dahi)
24-30 mathris + for garnish
2 tbsps powdered sugar
2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
Chaat masala for sprinkling
Red chilli powder for sprinkling
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, finely chopped
Black salt for sprinkling
Roasted cumin powder for sprinkling
Date and tamarind chutney for drizzling
Green chutney for drizzling
Sev for sprinkling
Masala dal for sprinkling
Roasted peanuts for sprinkling
Chopped raw mango for sprinkling
Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Method

1. Take yogurt in a bowl, add powdered sugar and ½ cup water and whisk till well combined. Add ½ cup water and mix again. Add the mathris and set aside to soak for 10 minutes.
2. To make one portion, place 6 mathris on a serving plate. Place a portion of potato on each mathri. Sprinkle chaat masala and red chilli powder. Add a portion of the onion, tomato sprinkle some black salt, roasted cumin powder and drizzle some date and tamarind chutney and green chutney. Sprinkle sev, masala dal, roasted peanut and some raw mango. Garnish with coriander leaves and crush some of the mathris and add on top. Serve immediately.
