Dhaba Style Dal Fry can easily be made at home. Let me show you how easily it can be made.Ingredients:1 cup Moong Dal2 tbsp Oil1/4 tsp Turmeric1/4 tsp Hing1 cup chopped Onions1/4 cup Tomato puree2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste2 slit Green Chillies Lime juice to tasteSalt to tasteA few Curry leavesMethod: Wash Dal, add Curry leaves, pour water and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Heat Oil and stir fry Onions to golden brown. Add Ginger Garlic paste and Hing and fry for a minute. Add Tomato puree and cook till water evaporates. Add split Green Chillies, Turmeric, Salt and fry. Add the Dal and let it simmer. Add the Lime juice and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add Kasuri Methi and Coriander leaves and mix well. For the Tadka:1 tbsp Ghee1 tbsp Cumin seeds3 dry Red Chillies1/4 tsp Garam masala1 tbsp Chilli powderA few Coriander leavesHeat Ghee and add Cumin, Red chillies, Chilli powder and Garam masala and pour over the ready Dal.
