For Dal Makhani

Urad Dal (उड़द दाल) - 1 cup or 200 gm
Kidney Beans (राजमा) – ½ cup
Onion ((प्याज) - 1 medium chopped
Ginger-Garlic Paste (अदरक लहसुन का पेस्ट) - 1 tbsp
Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च) - 2 chopped
Red Chili Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Salt (नमक) - 2 tsp or as per taste
Turmeric (हल्दी) - 1 tsp
Jeera Powder (जीरा पाउडर) – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर) - 2 tsp
Butter (मक्खन) – 2 tbsp
Ghee (घी ) - 2 tbsp
Fresh Cream (ताजा मलाई) - 2 tbsp
