Try it this time & make it a must for the years to follow.DATES AND ANJEER MODAKIngredients1 cup chopped dates¾ cup chopped dried figs (anjeer)2 tbsps pistachios2 tbsps raisins¼ cup almonds2 tbsps grated dried coconut2 tbsps poppy seeds (khaskhas)½ tsp green cardamom powderMethod1. Put pistachios, raisins, and almonds in a food processor and process to a coarse powder. Add dried coconut, poppy seeds and green cardamom powder and process to a coarse paste.2. Transfer the coarse paste into a large bowl and mix. Take a portion of the mixture and stuff into a modak mould, gently press and demould. 3. Arrange the dates and anjeer modaks on a serving plate.
