Delicious Nigerian Mackerel Fish SauceIngredients:2 Grilled Mackerel fish1 onion, sliced1 onion4 Tomato2 Bell Peppers2 habanero1/4 cup oilCurry powderThyme2 inch ginger4 cloves garlicChicken stock optionalGreen and red bell peppersParselyDirections:Shred the grilled mackerel fish and set aside.Use the food processor to coarsely blend the bell peppers, Tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and Onions in a food processor.Heat the oil in a large pan, add the sliced onions and leave to caramelize for 5 to 6 minutesAdd the blended peppers and cook for about 20 minutes or till the sauce is reduced.Season with salt, seasoning powder, curry, thyme, salt, and seasoning powder.Add the shredded fish and add the chicken stock if neededAdd the bell peppersGarnish with parsley (optional)serve with boiled yam, rice, couscous, pasta, or breadLETS CONNECT!
