Diwali Special Mawa Gujiya | How to make Gujiya | गुजिया कैसे बनाए | Ananya Banerjee

Gujiya and festivities go hand in hand! It's one of the quickest and most delicious recipe! Make these Healthy Gujiya for Diwali this year! #gujiya #gujiyarecipe

Ingredients:
1.5 cup Plain Flour (Maida)
1 tbs ghee
Salt to taste
Mava (khoya)
Desiccated Coconut
Sugar
2 tsp Poppy Seeds (khaskhas)
Some Chironji, Pista & Almond slices
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
Honey and Ghee to brush on Gujiya

Method:
Take 1.5 cup Plain Flour (Maida) in a bowl. Add 1 tbs ghee and salt to taste knead into a pliable dough. Cover and leave it for 10-15 minutes
Heat up a pan, add Mava (khoya), Desiccated Coconut & Sugar as per taste
Add 2 tsp Poppy Seeds (khaskhas), some Chironji, Pista & Almond slices. Add 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
Keep roasting until Sugar melts and Mava turns soft. Turn off the heat and let it cool down.
From the dough prepared roll out into a thin small circle. Place a spoonful of mava filling at the centre of roundels. Cover Gujiya by folding the sides.
Line them on a baking tray along with a parchment paper in it. Brush some Honey & Ghee on each Gujiya.
Bake them at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
When baked brush more honey. Garnish with chopped Pista & Almond.
