DIY Beefy Crunch Burrito | HellthyJunkFood

There's been a lot of popular food coming to the world of fast food and I'm not fast so it's hard to get through my long list of copycat recipes, but this one was completely feasible to do and also there's a beefy crunch movement for these so that's like a big deal. I need to take this beefy crunch seriously, so I seriously hope you enjoy this recipe.

Beefy Crunch Burrito
350 Calories
Makes 10 Burritos

Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 30 minutes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Equipment:
• Julia's New Pan: http://amzn.to/1NsMnQw
• Food Processor (optional): http://amzn.to/1M9eyFc

Ingredients:
• Flour Tortillas
• 80/20 Ground Beef
• Taco Seasoning Packet
• Spanish Rice
• Nacho Cheese
• Fritos or Flaming Hot Fritos
• Paprika
• Cayenne Pepper
• Chili Powder
• Reduced Fat Sour Cream
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directions:

1.) Start with the rice because it takes the longest amount of time. If you want to make authentic Spanish rice then you're in the wrong place. I'm not Spanish nor authentic.

2.) After the ground beef has been browned I like to blitz it a few times in the food processor to break up the meat into a finer texture because it will really give you that Taco Bell feeling. Afterwards just place it back into the skillet and finish it off with the seasoning & water.

3.) I heated the Nacho Cheese with 30 second intervals in the microwave while stirring in between.

4.) Lastly, I seasoned my Fritos with paprika, cayenne pepper and chili powder because I couldn't find flaming hot Fritos in the store. I truly believe mine came out spicier than the store bought version and made with not artificial red coloring.

5.) To build your beefy crunch burrito, contrary to the video you want to start with the sour cream first, then the Fritos, beef, Fritos, cheese and Spanish rice. That way when you roll it up none of the sauces will disrupt your fingers.

6.) Slice in half and dress it up for a pretty picture if you feel so inclined.
