Raising Canes Chicken
450 Calories per 3 Strips

Raising Canes Sauce
50 Calories per Tbsp

Prep: 10 minutes
Refrigerate: 2-4 hours
Deep Fry @ 350°F: 3-4 minutes

Ingredients:
• Chicken Breast
• 2 Cups Flour
• 1 Cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
• 2 tsp Salt
• 2 tsp Baking Powder
• 2 Egg
• 2 Cups Buttermilk
• 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder

Canes Sauce:
• 1 Cup Mayonnaise
• 2/3 Cup Ketchup
• 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 tsp Garlic Powder
• 2 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
• 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice​

Directions:

1.) Cut your thick juicy chicken breasts into strips (3 per breast plus the tenderloin)

2.) Whisk together 2 Eggs, 2 Cups Buttermilk & 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder and pour mixture along with chicken into a sealable container

3.) Refrigerate for 2-4 hours

4.) In a paper bag or the Batter Pro, combine 2 Cups Flour, 1 Cup

5.) Seasoned Bread Crumbs, 2 tsp Salt and 2 tsp Baking Powder

6.) Toss chicken into this mixture and shake

7.) Toss chicken back into the wet mixture it was marinading in

8.) Toss chicken back into the dry mixture and shake one last time, they should have a beautiful double coat

9.) Deep fry for 3-4 minutes at 350°F or until fully cooked on the inside

Canes Sauce:
When created the canes sauce base of Mayo & Ketchup, we had the exact same sauce by our side to compare as we added our ingredients a little bit at a time. Finally concluding the secret ingredient was tart combing fresh squeezed lemon juice as a final touch. Feel free to experiment with the amount of black pepper, but make sure its fresh cracked black pepper for that punch you get from Canes.
