One of the best and lazy recipe is to use the leftover idlis to make this fried idli. Easy fried idli recipe that anyone can make. No chillies, no heavy masalas yet extremely tasty fried idli / kaima idli (கைமா இட்லி).

Shelf-life: 1 day, refrigerated - 2 days

INGREDIENTS:
1. Idlis - 6 (Leftover or a day's old Idlis work best for this recipe!)
2. Onion, large - 1
3. Curry leaves - 1 sprig
4. Oil - 6 to 10 tbsp
5. Tomato, medium - 2
6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
7. Sambar / Kuzhambu chilli powder - 3 tsp (Substitute - 1.5 tsp pure chilli powder + 1.5 tsp coriander/dhaniya powder)
8. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
9. Green capsicum - 1, cubed
10. Water - 1/2 cup
11. Salt - to taste
12. Coriander - for garnishing
