For more tasty recipes, pleaseSubscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/eateastI...Our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/EatEastIndianFollow us on twitter: https://twitter.com/EatEastIndianPinterest: http://pinterest.com/eateastindian/Our Blog: http://eateastindian.com/Ingredients and method:750 gms of Okra2-3 tbsp oil1/2 tsp cumin seeds1/2 tsp mustard seeds1 tsp red chilli pwd1tsp turmeric pwd4 tbsp chickpea flour/Besan/ Gram flour1/2 cup chopped onionsmall piece of ginger-garlic chopped ( or 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste)1-2 tsp amchur/ Dried Mango Powder1.5 tsp salt2 small chopped tomatoesMethod:- Wash and ry Okra and remove the end parts. Cut it in two halves and set aside- In a pan/wok, add 2-3 tbsp oil and fry cumin, mustard, red chilli pwd, turmeric and chickpea flour. roast chickpea flour for 2-3 mins.-Mix in onions and ginger garlic.- Fry for another 2-3 mins. Add okra and mix well. Add salt and mango powder. Mango powder ensures that when you cover okra, it doesnt turn too slimy.- Cover and cook for 5 mins. Once a bit tender, add tomatoes. cover and cook for 5 more mins then remove the cover and cook until completely done and tender. - Add garam masala and cilantro and serve warm with Roti.
