Easy Spicy Thai Basil Stir-fry Recipe Pad Kra Pao Thai Girl in the Kitchen

Hi! It's Pam. Today we're going to make Easy Spicy Thai Basil Stir-fry or Pad Krapow/KaPrao.
It is one of the most popular Thai menu in Thailand. I'm sure you can find this dish from every single quick street food restaurant or what we call "Ar-Han-Tam-Sang" (Made by order).
When ordering this menu, most people would have egg(s) on side. The most popular one would be fried egg, some might have with omelette or even Century eggs which I have put the video Pad Kaprao + Century Eggs ealier already if you want to check it out ( https://youtu.be/4uM26DI_R38 )



Recipe: Easy Spicy Thai Basil Stir-fry | Thai Girl in the Kitchen

- 300g Protein of choice; minced pork/chicken/beef/turkey/seafood
- Cooking Oil 3 tbsp
- Garlic 4-5 cloves
- Red Chilis as you like
(Im mixing between Cayenne and Bird Eyes chilis. Bird Eyes for the hot spice and cayenne for the hot aroma..more colorful but less spice. You can pick just either or less spicy chilis if you wanted)

- Holy Basils 2 cups
(In the video, I was using sweet basils since its the only type I can find in where I live. If you can find Holy Basils, I recommend to use those)


Seasonings;
For the convenience, you can mix these seasonings in one small bowl before start cooking.
- Oyster Sauce 2 tbsp
- Fish Sauce 1 tbsp
- Sugar 1/2 tbsp

[Optional for an extra aroma and beautiful color]
- Seasoning Sauce 1 tbsp [Subsitude: Maggie]
- Dark Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
