Easy Tasty Chocolate Chip Cookies
Just like the name says - this chocolate chip cookie recipe is easy to bake, and tastes great. It's an all butter riff on the classic tollhouse recipe, that we add some raisins to. But if you don't like raisins leave them out... (though we're sure you'll leave us a nasty comment first; this is YouTube after all, where would we be without the trolls?)

Ingredients:
1 cup (250 mL) butter, softened
1 cup (250 mL) packed brown sugar
½ cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp (15 mL) vanilla
2⅓ cups (575 mL) all purpose flour
1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
½ tsp (2 mL) salt
1½ cups (375 mL) semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup (125 mL) raisins


Method:
Pre-heat your oven to 350ºF (180°C).
In bowl, cream together butter & sugars until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, 1 at a time; beat in vanilla.
Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips, and raisins.
Chill for 30 minutes.
Drop by rounded 1 Tbsp onto baking sheets.
Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven until edges are golden, 10-12 minutes.
Let cool on baking pan on a cooling rack for 5 minutes; then transfer to racks and cool completely.

Makes 36 cookies.
