No Egg, No Oil Semolina Cake #dessert #ramadanrecipes

No oil, no egg semolina cake! If you are looking for a simple dessert to make, this is it. Great for Ramadan, iftar dinners too.
Ingredients for semolina cake:
1+2/3 cups semolina
1/3 cup flour
1 cup yogurt (if yogurt is thick you can add from its water to get the consistency of the batter)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
to spread to batter 1 tbsp grape molasses 1 tbsp water (optional)
to decorate the top: peanuts or almonds
For the syrup:
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
3-4 drops of lemon juice
