Feast on Seafood and Zi Char-Style Dishes at Happy Seafood Village (Reminds me of JB!)

While were definitely excited about crossing over the borders to Malaysia to shop and makan, theres no denying that the pandemic still hasnt been making it any easier for things to go back to the way it was. I, for one, personally miss Johor Bahru (JB) so what better way to curb that desire than finding a place right in Singapore that delivers its vibes along with good food and beer?

Located at 1 Lorong 23 Geylang, Happy Seafood Village () is an open-air restaurant that dishes out hearty servings of seafood, Szechuan and zi char-style dishes. Soak up the relaxing ambiance as you peruse their expansive menu that has everything from fresh fish dishes and different styles of chicken to even soups and oysters!

All eyes were on the Stone Pot Lamb, a hearty dish that is quite the uncommon sight in Singapore when it comes to choice of protein. The bubbling broth was surprisingly light on the palate yet full of flavour without any hint of gaminess from the lamb but still retained every hint of goodness from it. Its also rich in collagen and Vitamin B, which makes it a great boon for your health and skin! As for the lamb chops themselves, can we just say fall-off-the-bone tender?
