Fish Head Curry and Tawa Fish Cutlet
INGREDIENTS:
Fish - 1 kg
Onion - 2 nos
Coconut - ½ piece
Fenugreek seeds - ½ tsp
Sesame seeds - 3 tsp
Oil - As Required
Salt - As Per Taste
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Pepper (crushed) - 1tsp
Tamarind juice - 1 cup
Water - As Required
coriander leaves - 1 bunch
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
green chillies - 5 nos.
Roasted chana dal powder - 1 tsp
Lemon - 1 no.
DIRECTIONS:
Firstly, burn the onion and coconut on direct flame by using a grill and keep aside. Now add fenugreek seeds, sesame seeds in a blender along with burned onion and coconut and make into a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add some salt ,add all the fish pieces fry it and keep aside.
In the same oil add fish bone pieces fry it move the side and add curry leaves, cumin seeds, coconut paste, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste saute it till it turns slightly transparent.
Then add red chilli powder, cumin powder,coriander powder, crushed pepper powder, tamarind juice, salt. Let it come to a boil so that nice aroma comes out to it.
At last, add coriander leaves cook it for some more time drain all the gravy using a strainer. Now keep this gravy aside.
Heat oil in a pot, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, fish head. Pour the entire gravy into it . Then add crushed pepper powder, garam masala powder when the oil oozes out the gravy.

Now check salt, and add coriander leaves, ginger and add fried boneless fish pieces and cook it for some more time with lid closed.

Fish Cutlet:

Take a plate, add fish meat which is removed from the bones,and, salt, red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves add roasted chana dal powder(Sattu) and then mix well. Make the mixture into small cutlets as shown in video.

Heat oil in a pan tawa fry the fish cutlets till they turn golden in colour. On the same pan in the balance oil add onion slices, salt, lime juice saute it. Transfer into a plate and garnish it to the fish cutlets.

Now tasty and crispy fish cutlet and fish head curry is ready to serve with hot rice.
