Creamy and herby, this fish pie makes a hearty and wonderful meal for all fish lovers!FISH PIEIngredients ½ cup medium prawns, shelled and deveined½ cup squid rings ½ medium boneless fish, cut into small pieces1 five-inch short crust pie1 tablespoon butter1 tablespoon chopped garlic1 medium onion, finely chopped1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs1 medium potato, boiled, peeled and cut into piecesSalt to tasteGrated processed cheese as requiredGrated mozzarella cheese as requiredWhite sauce1 tablespoon butter1 tablespoon refined flour¾ cup milkSalt to taste Method1. Preheat oven at 180ºC.2. To make white sauce, heat 1 tablespoon butter in a non-stick pan. Add flour, mix and cook for a minute. Add milk, whisk and cook for a minute. Add salt, mix and cook for a minute.3. To prepare filling, heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and onion and sauté till translucent. Add mixed dried herbs and mix well. 4. Add prawns and toss on high heat to mix. Add squid rings and potato, toss to mix and cook for a minute. Add white sauce and mix well. Add fish and mix well. Add salt and some processed cheese and mix well.5. Put the fish mixture in pie tray and level it out. Top with mozzarella and processed cheese.6. Put the fish pie in preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.7. Demould and serve hot.
