In this video my family and I we go to a local Thai food market to buy the ingredients for Thai Chicken with Holy Basil Stir Fry (Pad Gra Pao Gai (aka pad kaprow gai, pad ka prao gai. pad kra pow)), which my wife cooks and shows you the recipe for when we return home. Real Thai food cooking.

Aorn's Stir Fried Chicken with Holy Basil Recipe (Pad Ka Prao Recipe) Serves 2

Ingredients:
1 minced chicken breast (about 300 gms).
Leaves from 7 holy basil stems.
5 tbspns oyster sauce.
1 tspn chicken stock powder.
3 chopped long beans.
5 chilis.
1 clove of garlic.
100 ml water.

Method:
1) Mash the chilis in a mortar and pestle.
2) Add garlic and lightly crush. Put the mix aside.
3) Heat a wok, add oil and the garlic & chili, then mix and fry till fragrant.
4) Add chicken, water and then cook through while breaking the chicken up.
5) Add the beans, stock powder, oyster sauce, mix and cook for 1 more minute.
6) Add the holy basil leaves and turn off the stove.
7) Serve with rice and a fried egg.
8) Enjoy :)
