Founder Bak Kut Teh: A Legacy of Flavour Singapore Food

Since 1978, Uncle Chua Chwee Whatt has brought a distinct taste and tradition to the table with his Bak Kut Teh (BKT). With a rich history that traces back to his days as a pig farm operator, Uncle Chua's deep understanding of pork has led to the creation of a BKT recipe that's beloved by many. His signature dish is known for its rich, peppery flavor and the tenderness of premium loin rib meat, perfectly balanced with fat and lean.

Over the years, the menu has expanded to include a variety of dishes like braised pork knuckle, marinated deep-fried intestine, and sizzling stir-fried pork served in clay pots, each complementing the signature BKT perfectly.

As time moves forward, Uncle Chua's legacy continues under the stewardship of his son, Nigel Chua, ensuring that the tradition of serving heartwarming flavours carries on. Join us in sharing a meal thats more than just foodits a story of passion, tradition, and the passing of the baton from one generation to the next.
