Fruity Galette Recipe - A Super Tasty FAIL - Glen And Friends Cooking
This Berry Galette Recipe uses a Puff Pastry base - in this case our home made puff pastry from a previous video: https://youtu.be/bZvQIFjO2Uc

Ingredients
125 mL ( cup) butter, softened
250 mL (1 cup) icing sugar
2 eggs
5 mL (1 tsp) vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
100g ( cup) ground almonds
500g (1Lb) puff pastry
300g raspberries
200g blackberries
1 beaten egg, for brushing
Handful flaked almonds

Method
Preheat the oven to 400F (200C).
Cream together the butter and sugar, then beat in the egg.
Mix in the vanilla, salt and ground almonds.
Make an egg wash.
Roll out the pastry, place on a baking tray and brush egg wash around the edge.
Fold over the pastry edge - about a ".
Spread the frangipane in the middle, then toss the berries on top.Brush edges with egg wash, and then sprinkle almond slices on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
