Gari Fortor

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 25 MINUTES
SERVES: 4-6

INGREDIENTS
2 cups gari
1 medium corned beef
2 chicken sausages, sliced.
1 medium onion, sliced.
3 cloves of garlic, minced.
1 tsp fennel seeds
4 medium tomatoes, pured.
4 tbsp tomato paste
10 petite belle pepper (kpakposhito), blended.
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp rosemary powder
1 medium carrot. Diced.
1 cup kidney beans
1 medium green bell pepper
Salt
Vegetable oil

DIRECTION
Heat vegetable oil over medium heat, add sliced onion, garlic, fennel seeds, stir and let sweat then add tomato paste, stir and let simmer for 3minutes
Add tomato pure, stir and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Add curry powder, rosemary powder, salt, stir and let simmer for 2 minutes.
Add chicken sausage, corned beef, stir and let simmer for a minute.
Add carrots, stir and let simmer for a minute then take off heat and set aside to cool
Make salt solution(mixing salt in water) , sprinkle on gari and stir to mix evenly.
Add the stew, stir and mix evenly then add green bell pepper, kidney beans and mix in.
Gari foto ready to serve. Garnish with parsley.
