Delicious garlic-y herby prawns. Succulent prawns dressed with fresh flavours makes this a wholesome meal!

GARLIC BASIL PRAWNS

Ingredients

6-8 garlic cloves
8-10 basil leaves
10-12 medium prawns, shelled and deveined
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon red chilli paste
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup

Method

1. Take prawns in a bowl. Add soy sauce, crushed peppercorns and salt and mix well. Set aside.
2. Thinly slice garlic cloves.
3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add sliced garlic and sauté till golden. Add red chilli paste, mix and sauté for a minute. Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
4. Add prawn mixture, toss to mix and cook till done.
5. Roughly chop basil leaves, add to pan and toss to mix.
6. Serve hot.
