A simple sabzi which is common in Maharashtrian households, prepared with cluster beans and potatoes. GAVARICHI BHAJIIngredients300 grams cluster beans (gavar), broken into pieces2 tbsps oil1 tsp cumin seeds1 tsp chopped garlic1 tsp chopped ginger2 medium onions, chopped¼ tsp turmeric powder1 tsp cumin powder2 tsps coriander powder1 tsp red chilli powder2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into ½ inch piecesSalt to taste3 tbsps tilkut masalaMethod1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds and once they start to change the colour, add garlic, ginger and sauté for 30 seconds.2. Add onions and sauté till translucent.3. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and mix well.4. Add cluster beans and mix well. Add potatoes and mix well.5. Add salt and mix. Add ½ cup water, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes.6. Add tilkut masala and mix well.7.
