Ghee Rice | Neychoru | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Neychoru or Ghee Rice is a very tasty and popular rice dish. This Rice recipe is very easy to make and can be had on its own without any side dish or accompaniments. Given below are the ingredients of this flavourful dish.

Ingredients:
(In the order of instructions)
3 tbsp Ghee
A handful of Cashew nuts
A handful of Raisins
5 Cloves
3 Cardamoms
1 Star Anise
3 Bay leaves
2 cups Basmati rice
Juice of 1 Lemon
Salt to taste
4 cups boiling Water
1/2 cup fried Onions
