Ghughra | How To Make Ghujiya | Indian Sweets | Simply Jain

Ghughra is traditional Gujarati Sweets/Dessert. A mixture of dry fruits and sugar are encased in a crescent shaped pastry with decorative edge are cooked specially for Diwali celebrations.

Ingredients required are

For Dough
6 -7 tbsp Maida
1 tbsp Rawa
1 tbsp Ghee
Water as required

For Filling
1 tbsp Ghee
1 bowl small rawa
2 tbsp powdered sugar
3-4 Cashewnuts
5-6 Raisins
3-4 almonds
4-5 Pistachios
1o Chironji
Ghee for frying
