Located in the heart of Orchard Road is a new Thai restaurant called Ginger Thai. It was named such because ginger is one of the main ingredients in Thai food, says owner, Mr Sundar. The restaurant brings together the fine culinary skills and ingredients to deliver the very best experience of traditional and innovative Thai Cuisine with an aim to deliver a complex interplay of the fundamental taste of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy.They provide 4 or 5 course set lunch menus to cater to the office crowd during the day as well as affordable cocktails, mocktails, beers and liqours all day long. Their signature dishes include Stuffed Chicken Wings, Tom Yam Grilled Prawns, Chilli Black Pepper Crab and Mango Sticky Rice.
