Crisp and batter coated deep fried cauliflowers are definitely a treat for the evening. GOBI KE PAKODEIngredients250 grams cauliflower (gobi)180 gms Tata Sampann Bonda/Pakoda MixSalt to taste½ tsp red chilli powder¼ tsp turmeric powder¼ tsp chaat masala + for sprinklingOil for deep fryingDate and tamarind chutney to serveGreen chutney to serveMethod1. Break large florets of the cauliflower and cut them in half. Transfer them into a large bowl.2. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and chaat masala and mix well and set aside for 5-10 minutes.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.4. To make the batter, take Tata Sampann Bonda/Pakoda Mix in another bowl, add ½ cup water little by little and whisk till a smooth batter of coating consistency is formed. 5. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and gently slide in a few at a time into the hot oil. Deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp and drain on an absorbent paper.6. Sprinkle chaat masala and arrange the pakode on a serving bowl.
