Going Local. Exploring SamRong. Imperial SamRong and SamRong Market.

Welcome to another Bangkok Food Adventure with Getting Loss. As part of our continuing Going Local series, We are heading to SamRong. First take the BTS to Bearing BTS, then cab it down to SamRong. A unique area, not visited much by tourist, yet. But not for long, the BTS line has been extended until SamRong and very soon it will not be so unknown.

But now, you have a chance to go there, and experience how it is to be a local there. The food will be abit more spicy that you are used to. And being the only tourist around is also an interesting experience.

So we started with lunch at Imperial SamRong, a local lunch, northern thai food, similar to what we had at the Rot Fai Market but with afew different dishes. Then it is to the SamRong Market, were you can get any ingredient you need to cook any thai dish you need. All fresh and ready for you. It was an amazing experience to see the market. Fresh produce, meat and poultry fresh, and fish that is still flipping around ready for sale. Seafood too. Don't miss the chance to see all this before too many tourist come in and commercialise the place.
