Gola Kabab Masala

Ingredients for Gola Kabab:
Beef mince 70% meat + 30% fat (1/2 kg)
Fried Onion 1/4 cup
Garlic powder 1/2 tbsp
Ginger powder 1/2 tbsp
Green coriander (chopped) 1/4 cup
Coriander seeds (crushed) 2 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
Mace powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Oil (for shallow frying) as required

Ingredients for Gola Kabab Gravy:
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion (finely chopped) 1 cup
Tomatoes (chopped) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Water 1/4 cup
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Prepared gola kabab
Ginger (julienne) for garnishing
Green coriander (chopped) for garnishing

Directions for gola kabab preparation:
1. In a bowl add beef mince, fried onion, garlic powder, ginger powder, green coriander, coriander seeds crushed, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, mace powder, salt and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
2. On a skewers tread the beef mince in the shape of gola kabab. Remove them from skewers
3. Shallow fry these gola kabab until cooked through. Your gola kabab are ready. Set aside.
Directions for Gola Kabab Gravy Preparation:
4. In a pot heat oil and add onion. Fry until they turn brown.
5. Add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes get soft.
6. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute. Add red chili powder, salt, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and water. Cook until oil separates.
7. Add yogurt and cook for 2-3 minutes.
8. Now add garam masala powder and mix well. Add prepared kabab and give it a good mix.
9. Cover and cook over low flame for 2-3 minutes.
10. Take off lid, garnish it with ginger and coriander. Serve with roti or naan and enjoy. Your Gola Kabab Masala is ready.

Cooking time: 40-50 minutes
