Golden Mile Fish Soup 82 year-old Ah Mah's Superb Umami-infused Taste since 1975

Run by the lovely 2nd generation owner, Ms. Alice Chew, this near stall holds the secrets to some of the most soul-warming fish soup. Set up by her mother in 1975, the stall has been around for nearly 50 years.

The star of the show is its incredible broth that is cooked for 3 hours, infusing it with the rich essence of pork bones, fish bones, ikan bilis, and soy beans. This magical elixir forms the heart and soul of every dish that emerges from the kitchen. The double fish soup, a unique blend of batang fish and fried dory, complemented by the freshness of coriander. Not to forget the seafood soup, generously loaded with prawns, clams, and fish roe, creating a symphony of flavours. Pair these with the special rice, generously adorned with pumpkin, yam, and cabbage. It's not just a meal, but a wholesome experience that will leave you feeling comforted and nourished.

It's not just about the food; it's about a legacy of love, dedication, and the art of creating something truly remarkable.
