This dish may sound fiery but is extremely flavourful and has an amazing hint of delicate spiciness that comes from the light green chillies and compliments the chicken really well.GREEN CHILLI CHICKENIngredients2 green chillies + to serve150 grams light green chillies750 grams chicken, cut into 2 inch pieces on the bone2 medium onions, roughly chopped1 inch ginger, roughly chopped6-8 garlic cloves1 cup fresh coriander leaves3 tbsps oil2 tsps cumin seeds ½ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric PowderSalt to taste½ tsp garam masala powderOnion wedges to serveLemon wedges to serveMethod1. Put onions in a blender jar, add ginger, garlic, green chillies and coriander leaves and blend to a fine paste. 2. Heat oil in an earthen pot, add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add light green chillies and sauté for 2-3 minutes.3. Add ground paste and mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and mix well.4. Add chicken and salt and sauté on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes, sautéing occasionally.5. Add 1 cup water and mix well, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, sautéing occasionally. 6. Add garam masala powder and mix, take the pan off the heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
