Green Chutney Peanuts Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A simple green chutney with a added twist of peanuts makes for an amazing condiment to go with your favourite snack.

GREEN CHUTNEY PEANUTS

Ingredients

cup green chutney
1 cup raw peanuts
cup gram flour
1 tbsps rice flour
1 tsp yellow chilli powder
tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
1 tsp dried mint leaves
tsp chaat masala

Method

1. Take raw peanuts in a large bowl. Add gram flour, rice flour, yellow chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Add green chutney and mix till each peanut is coated with the masala. Add cup water and mix well.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the peanuts one by one into the hot oil and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
3. Sprinkle dried mint leaves and chaat masala and toss well.
4. Transfer into a bowl and serve.
