Mawa Gujia- Gujiya is a classic North Indian sweet. It is a festival special mithai - holi and Diwali special dish, without gujia holi or Diwali festivals are incomplete. Gujia is a deep-fried dumpling. The outer layer is made from all-purpose flour and stuffing is made from mawa or khoya, nuts, sugar and coconut. It is rich and sweet in taste. This sweet dish adds happiness to any indian festival and your guests will love this. You can easily make this at home and share your love through this with your loved ones.

Ingredients-
For making khoya-
Full cream milk-1 litre
Ghee-1tsp
For dough for gujhiya-
All-purpose flour (maida)-250 gms
Pure ghee-75 grams (6 to 7 tbsps)

Sugar Syrup:
Water -2 cups
Green cardamom (green elachi )-2 to 3
Saffron (Kesar) -pinch
Lemon juice-1 tsp

For Gujiya stuffing-
Mawa-250 grams
Roasted suji (rawa)-4 to 5tbs approximate 40 to 50 grams
Almonds finely chopped-4 tbsps (40 grams)
Chases nut-4 to 5 tbs
Melon seeds-3 tbs (35 grams)
Kushmish (raisins)-3 to 4 tbs chopped
Designated coconut-3 to 4 tbs
Powder sugar-50 grams
Green cardamom powder-1/2 tsp

Oil for frying
