Instead of basil, try chives, dill or parsley.Ingredients:2 tbsp (30 mL) butter1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced¾ cup (175 mL) chopped green onionspinch saltpinch pepper1½ cups (375 mL) couscous2 cups (550 mL) vegetable stock or low-sodium chicken stock 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh parsleyMethod:In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; fry garlic, onions, salt and pepper, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 3 minutes. Add couscous; stir until lightly toasted, about 2 minutes.Add stock and bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed and couscous is tender but firm, about 1 minute.
