Homemade Chivda/Mixture/Poha Chivda Recipe | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Chivda or Mixture is regularly bought by most of us and consumed on a daily basis. Let me show how easily you can make Poha Chivda at home. Homemade Chivda is any day healthier and also cheaper to make at home with quality ingredients. Given below is the Poha Chivda recipe.

Ingredients:
500 gms Thin Poha
1 cup Oil
1 cup Peanuts
1/2 cup Dalia
1 cup Copra (dry Coconut)
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 cup Raisins
1/4 cup Green Chillies
1 tsp Mustard seeds
3 tbsp Sugar powder
Curry leaves
Salt to taste

Method:
-- Dry roast Poha on low flame till it becomes crisp and keep aside.
-- Heat oil in a pan.
-- Fry Dalia, remove from Oil and spread it over the Poha.
-- Fry Copra till brown, remove from oil and spread over the Poha.
-- Fry Peanuts till brown, remove from Oil and spread over the Poha.
-- Fry Raisins, remove from Oil and spread over the Poha.
-- Add Salt and Sugar powder.
-- Remove the Oil from heat and put into it Mustard seeds, Green Chillies, Curry leaves and Turmeric powder and pour all these ingredients along with the Oil over the Poha.
-- Combine well.
-- Poha Chivda is ready.
