HOT AND SWEET CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients

8-12 chicken wings
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 egg
3-4 tablespoons cornstarch
Oil for deep-frying
½ cup Teriyaki sauce
¾ cup sweet chilli sauce
2 stalks spring onion greens, diagonally sliced

Method

1. Take chicken wings in a bowl. Add salt, pepper powder and ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 1 hour.
2. Toast sesame seeds till light brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Add egg and cornstarch to the chicken and mix well.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Deep-fry the chicken wings till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Heat Teriyaki sauce and sweet chilli sauce in a non-stick pan. Add fried chicken wings and mix well. Add spring onion greens, mix well and let it get heated through.
6. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds, garnish with spring onion green curls and serve hot.

Preparation Time: 60-65 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes
