How to make Apple Chutney Recipe | Fall Recipes Fresh Homemade | Eat East Indian

Ingredients:

4 cup apples
Small piece of onion
Small piece of ginger
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 piece of cinnamon
4-5 cloves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp salt
2-4 tbsp sugar ( You can get generous here and add more depending on the quality and sweetness of your apples)
1 tbsp pure white vinegar
and 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Method:
- Peel and chop apples
-Cut small piece of onion and ginger and chop up.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon, cloves and mustard seeds
- Let them sizzle for 45-60 secs. Once seeds start spluttering, add onions, ginger and salt. Saute till onions are soft and golden. will be about 3-4 mins
- Add apples and sugar. Mix in vinegars. Cover and cook until apples are tender. Will be 4-5 mins.
- Let the chutney cool down and then store in an airtight container.
