Ananya's Bong Kitchen Episode #7Watch the making of Chingri Machher Paturi by Ananya Banerjee.Ananya’s new series showcasing Bengal’s special recipes.Chingri Machher PaturiIngredients:5 to 6 medium size Prawns (Chingri)2 tbs yellow mustard (Soaked in Water)2 tbs black mustard (Soaked in Water)1 tbs poppy seeds (Soaked in Water)2 tbs Greeted Coconut2 green chillies1 tbs dried melon seeds2 tbs mustard oilSalt to tasteBanana leaves cut into large rectangular piecesMethod:Microwave Banana Leaves for 30 Sec.Take soaked two kinds of mustard, poppy seeds, 2 green chilies, melon seeds, and salt and grind to a very fine paste. Add Turmeric Powder, Greeted Coconut & Mustard Oil into the paste mix it well.Place a banana leaf on the work surface. Put little mustard oil on the banana leaf.Place the Prawnson the oil smeared banana leaf. Cover the Prawns with prepared paste. Put one Green chilli on it. Close from all ends to form a parcel. Secure with toothpicks.Put Mustard Oil in Frying Pan & heat it till the smoke. Fry the made parcels for 10-12 mins till fish is beautifully cooked.
