Ingredients:
1 cup of coconut
Water:
1 cup for 1st extract
2.5 cups for 2nd extract
2.5 cups for 3rd extract

Coconut milk is by far one of the most delicate ingredients in the market that needs to be treated with care. Coconut milk can split easily and hence its best to use it after taking the dish off the stove. Homemade coconut milk is simple to make. All you need is some coconut meat, water and a clean cloth and yes of course CLEAN Hands. Homemade coconut milk taste much better than all commercial ones as the fresher it is the better.


In a 100 milliliter (ml) portion, coconut milk contains 230 kilocalories and is 68% water, 24% total fat, 6% carbohydrates, and 2% protein (see table). The fat composition includes 21 grams of saturated fat, half of which is lauric acid.

Coconut milk is a rich source (20% or more of the Daily Value, DV) of manganese (44% DV) and an adequate source (10–19% DV) of phosphorus, iron, and magnesium, with no other nutrients in significant content (see table).
