Sausages Crescent Rolls with Gravy Recipe in English:
Ingredients for dough:
2 cups All-purpose flour
1 ½ tbsp Yeast
1 tbsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
1-2 tbsp Oil
Warm water as required
Ingredients for filling:
3 Eggs
2 tbsp Milk
8 K&N’s Breakfast Sausage
1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
Salt to taste
1 tsp Black pepper powder
1 tsp Red chili flakes
Ingredients for Sausage gravy:
2 tbsp All-purpose flour
2 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
1 cup Milk
Salt to taste
1 tsp Oregano
8 K&N’s Breakfast Sausage
1 tsp Black pepper powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
Directions for dough:
1. Place flour, sugar, yeast, salt, oil in a large mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
2. Knead the dough with warm water.
3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it sit for at least 25 to 30 minutes.
Directions for filling:
1. In small mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, red chili flakes and black pepper.
2. Thaw K&N’s Breakfast Sausage as per the instructions on pack and set aside.
3. Add whisked eggs to the same skillet and make scrambled egg.
4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut triangle shapes of it.
5. Place egg, cheese and K&N’s Breakfast Sausage on one side of the dough and roll.
6. Baked for 12-14 minutes at 180 degree in a preheated oven, or until tops are lightly browned.
Directions for Sausage Gravy:
1. Thaw K&N’s Breakfast Sausage as per the instructions on pack, cut into chunks and set aside.
2. In a pan melt butter, add milk and let it boil; add all-purpose flour, salt, oregano, black pepper and red chili powder.
3. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until you reach your desired consistency.
4. Then add K&N’s Breakfast Sausage in it and mix it well.
5. Let it cool and serve with sausages crescent rolls.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serving: 5-6
