How to Make DIY Chocolate Sprinkles Raiza's Way | The Sweet Side of Life | Food Network

It’s easier than you'd think to make this ice cream topping at home.

To make your own chocolate sprinkles, you start with confectioners sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Then add water, vanilla extract and a little bit of instant coffee to enhance the chocolate flavor. Mix until smooth, and then transfer mixture to a pastry bag. Using a pastry bag tip #2, make thin parallel lines on parchment paper. Let harden and then cut into equal sizes to make the chocolate sprinkles.
