How To Make Ghee At Home | Clarified Butter | Basic Cooking | Recipe by Archana in Marathi | Ruchkar Mejwani

Learn how to make Ghee at home from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Ghee is clarified butter mostly used in Indian cuisine. It is prepared from homemade cream (malai).

Ingredients:

250 gms Homemade Cream (Malai)
Salt to taste
Water

Method:

- In a large bowl add cream & water. With the help of a hand beater mix everything.
- Again add little water & mix well. Butter is ready.
- In another bowl take some water. Put the butter in the water.
- Heat a pan. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
- Once the butter turns transparent, add a pinch of salt.
- Switch off the flame when the mixture changes color.
- Pass the mixture through a strainer.
- Ghee is ready.
