Ginger - 1 inch 4. Curry leaves - 1 sprig5. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp6. Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp8. Kuzhambu / Curry chilli powder - 2 tsp (Substitute: Pure chilli powder - 1 tsp, Coriander powder - 1 tsp). Increase the chilli powder quantity for more heat. 9. Salt - to taste10. Fish slices - 400 to 500gms11. Oil - to shallow fryMethod:1. Blend ingredients 1 to 9 using 1 to 2 tsp water and make a marinade. 2. Coat the fish slices thoroughly on all sides. Ensure not to coat the slices thickly.3. Marinate for 30 minutes (minimum).4. Shallow fry the slices for 2-3 minutes on each side.
