Omelette with pav is a perfect breakfast for any day. Learn the basics of the most tasty everyday breakfast in a jiffy.

OMELETTE PAV

Ingredients

8 eggs
8 pavs, slit in half
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
4 green chillies, finely chopped
8 tbsps finely chopped onion
8 tbsps finely chopped tomatoes
4 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
Salt to taste
4 tsps oil
4 tsps butter + for toasting
Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

1. Break in the eggs in a large bowl. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, onion, tomato, coriander leaves and salt and mix till well combined.
2. To make one omelette, heat 1 tsp oil and 1 tsp butter in a non-stick pan. Add a portion of the eggs mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat. Carefully slip and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes. Cut the omelette in half and take it off the heat.
3. Heat some butter in the same non-stick pan. Place a pav and toast for a few seconds on both sides. Place an omelette half on one side of the pav and fold it in half.
4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
