A quick steamed rice dish that is light and the perfect idea for an amazing breakfast.IDIYAPPAMIngredients1½ cups idiyappam flour A pinch of saltOil for greasingKorma to serveMethod1. Take idiyappam flour in a large bowl, add salt and 1½ cups warm water little by little while continuously kneading till a soft dough is formed. Grease your palms with oil and knead the dough again.2. Heat sufficient water in a steamer. Grease an idli mould with a little oil.3. Divide the dough into equal portions. Take a chakli mould fitted with a medium sized sev stencil. Put a portion of the dough in the press and gently press on to each mould in a circular motion.4. Keep the mould in the steamer and steam for 15 minutes. 5. Switch the heat off and allow the idiyappams to cool slightly. De-mould and arrange them on a serving plate.6. Serve hot with korma.
